To access the course materials on-line you will need to login to your WebCT account using your UCLan UserID and password.
New students are sent the LLRS registration form as part of the enrolment process. In return for the completed form, you are sent your 'Corporate Card' and University User ID.
- Your WebCT UserID is the University User ID on your Corporate Card (eg jmsmith2)
- The default password is the full 14-digit barcode number on your Corporate Card (eg 20107005123456).
If you have not received this information check that you are fully enrolled on the module.
Students who were enrolled last year, should find that their LLRS and WebCT registration has been carried forward automatically. Please note the following:
- From July 2006, the WebCT password has been set equal to the University PC network password. If you have never changed your University PC network password (eg via links on WebCT login page) your WebCT password will now equal the full 14-digit barcode on your Corporate Card (eg 20107005123456).
- From October 2006 Distance Learning Astronomy has been using the WebCT server elearn.uclan.ac.uk and the WebCT UserID is identical to the University PC network UserID (ie it is no longer case sensitive)
During September you will have lost access to the WebCT modules from the previous academic year. You will be given access to your new modules during Step 1 of the Induction process in October.
